Why did we become paramedical tattoo artist?
Our journey into paramedical tattoo artistry began with our initial work as Permanent Makeup (PMU) artists, where we focused on enhancing natural beauty through cosmetic tattooing techniques. This early experience provided a solid foundation in precision and artistry, essential skills that would prove invaluable as we transitioned into a more specialized field.
The turning point in our professional path came when Patricia faced a personal health scare that involved pre-cancer concerns. The looming threat of scarring and the emotional distress it caused were significant challenges. Witnessing Patricia's struggle with the potential impact on her appearance and self-esteem, Chaz was deeply motivated to find a solution that could help her, and others in similar situations, regain confidence and a sense of normalcy.
Determined to make a meaningful difference, we immersed ourselves in the world of paramedical tattoo artistry. We committed to four intensive training classes, each designed to build upon the last, enhancing our technical skills and expanding our understanding of how to best address various medical and cosmetic concerns through tattooing. These courses covered a range of topics, from scar camouflage and skin tone matching to the delicate intricacies of creating realistic areolas for breast cancer survivors.
However, our formal education was just the beginning. We complemented these structured learning experiences with years of hands-on training, working closely with clients who had unique and often complex needs. This practical application allowed us to refine our techniques, develop new approaches, and gain the nuanced expertise necessary to achieve consistently high-quality results. Every client we worked with taught us something new, adding depth to our knowledge and honing our skills further.
As our competence and confidence grew, so did our desire to share what we had learned. Recognizing the profound impact that paramedical tattooing could have on individuals' lives, we transitioned into training roles. We began to educate other artists, passing on the techniques and insights we had acquired. This phase of our journey was incredibly rewarding, as we saw the ripple effect of our work expand through the efforts of those we trained.

Achieving the status of Nue Conceal master trainers was a significant milestone for us. It acknowledged not only our technical proficiency but also our commitment to ethical practice, client care, and education within the industry.
